Orpheo develops a new ADA inclusive tour in 6 languages for Casa Loma

Casa Loma Gardens

Casa Loma was first built in 1914 by financier Sir Henry Pelatt, Canada’s father of hydroelectricity. The castle located in midtown Toronto is now owned by the City of Toronto and is regarded as treasured heritage landmark. This castle is one of Toronto’s top tourist attractions and hospitality venues with over 650,000 visitors per year.

Orpheo is pleased to announce that it has been selected to create an ADA inclusive tour for Casa Loma’s guests. Working hand in hand with the castle staff, Orpheo is building a tour that will be ADA accessible in 6 languages once completed in mid 2022.

Orpheo is helping museums and other cultural organizations meet the legal, moral, and curatorial challenges of providing access and inclusion for all people, especially people with vision loss. How? By writing and producing accessible audio tours.
